Softball team wins 4 of 4 games, shuts out Highlands twice
The Chadron State Eagles softball team is starting to find its groove as the season winds down, building momentum after a convincing series sweep over New Mexico Highlands University last weekend. The Eagles won all four games, and Highlands went home empty-handed.

The “Art by Independents” gallery show reception took place from 4-6 p.m., Friday, in Memorial Hall’s Main Gallery. The show is to remain on display through Friday. It was put on by the seniors of the art department as a way to showcase their art to the public. These seniors include Rob Heckman of Crawford, Christina Ferrero of Bayard, Julya Briseno of Kenosha, Wis., and Macee Kellner of Bucklin, Kan.
