Economic education workshop on campus

The Nebraska Council on Economic Education is bringing an interactive workshop to Chadron State College from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 27 in the Burkhiser Technology Complex.

The workshop will cover differentiation in the economics classroom. This will include; vocabulary, K-12 standards, content, and pedagogy.  This is a workshop for K-12 teachers and pre-service teachers. All K-12 teachers and pre-service teachers will receive a $50 stipend, lunch, and economic and financial literacy curriculum.

Jennifer Davidson, assistant professor of practice in economics at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln; and president of Nebraska council on economic education, is a featured presenter.

Walt Ellison, teacher at Starr’s Mill High School, Fayetteville, Georgia, will also be presenting at the workshop.
