Book fair taking place in Burkheiser

The CSC Child Development Center Laboratory is hosting a Scholastic Book Fair in Burkheiser Room 212 today, which ends 5 p.m., Friday.

“The Book Fair is an annual event,” CDC Director Lona Downs, said.

This year’s event started Oct. 20 and ends Oct. 24. All sales will become Scholastic Dollars and used toward book purchases.

Downs said their current library is outdated, but “we don’t like to throw books away.”

The old books will be fixed, so the public can take them once the new books arrive.

The Book Fair is open 7 a.m.-5 p.m. and is accepting donations. The public and campus communities are invited.
