Haunted House, Halloween Dance to take place today

The Pit is hosting a Late Night Haunted House and Halloween Dance tonight in the Student Center.

The Scottsbluff Room will contain this year’s Haunted House. The Haunted House’s doors open at 8:30 p.m. The Ballroom will house the dance 9 p.m.- midnight. The Haunted House’s theme this year is Fear Fest.

“Compared to last year, I am very excited for this,” Pit Manager Jennie Robbins, 21, senior of Mitchell, said.

This year’s Haunted House will be different, Robbins said. She said The Haunted House will have divided sections, but did not provide more details. CAB approved extra budget money, so The Pit can buy actual lumber. Robbins hopes that it will make a sturdier haunted house.

The International Club, RLA, and members of CAB are all helping with The Haunted House. Theatre students will be applying makeup.

James De la Cerna, 23, senior of San Diego, will DJ the dance. Best male, female, and group costumes will earn gift cards.
