Moonlight madness set for Friday afternoon

The Chadron Chamber of Commerce will host their annual Moonlight Madness block party 4-6 p.m., Oct. 31.

The event will take place downtown on Main Street. A penny carnival and costume contest will take place for all ages.

The event has been a continued tradition in Chadron for 30 plus years, Karyn Snook, office assistant of Chadron chamber of commerce, said, and is a big part of what makes Chadron a nice and welcoming community.

“The event is a lot of fun for kids ’cause they get to trick-or-treat and people from the community learn about the local businesses Chadron has to offer,” Snook said.
