New carpet, furniture placed in Student Center
While CSC students were on fall break, the Student Center was renovated, limiting access to the area around The Pit. From noon Oct. 9, until noon Oct. 14, the lounge area was closed while new carpet was laid.

Volleyball team’s losing streak continues
The CSC volleyball team hit the road for match-ups against Metro State University-Denver, Oct. 10, and Colorado School of Mines, Oct. 11, suffering losses to both teams.
Friday’s match-up with Metro State ended in three sets with scores of 25-21, 25-13, and 25-15.

Lisa Curtis, retention specialist for Project Strive / TRiO, walked students through the steps needed to apply for graduation Tuesday evening in the Gold Room.
Students interested in applying for graduation for May 2015 were reminded that their application must be submitted by Nov. 15 to the Records Office in Crites.
Sandoz Center exhibit explores Depression-era photographs
The Mari Sandoz High Plains Heritage Center, located on 1000 Main Street in the Chadron State College campus, will have an exhibit on the Dust Bowl from October 13 until December 12.
