Joel Smith Jr., athletic director at Chadron State, announced on Monday that Brad Gamble will be the 25th head track and field coach. Gamble was the interim coach for the Eagles during the 2014 season.
Along with a new track and field coach, Smith appointed a new cross country coach. Brian Medigovich, previously the interim head coach, became the eighth coach in Chadron State history.

On Feb. 12-15, the Theatre Program will be producing the play “Extremities” by William Mastrosimone.
This production considers issues that are hard to bring up, and even harder for an audience to hear. It breaches the matter of rape and rape culture.
Associate Professor of Music Una Taylor is inviting all who would like to sing in Community Choir this semester to come and join.
Rehearsals started last Thursday, but anybody who is interested is urged to show up to rehearsal tonight. Rehearsals are held in Memorial Hall room 126 at 7 p.m. The concert date is April 26th.

This past Saturday, CSC lost one of its own and there are no words to describe the pain seen on faces across campus, especially those of the softball team.
Though I was not acquainted with Fatima, it was heartbreaking to see how hurt her teammates and friends were during Saturday’s basketball games.
