Dining Services Director Tracy Shuck answered senators’ questions about a possible F’real machine in the coffee shop. Shuck said profit sharing is out of the question because all cash revenue goes straight to the school, not to food services.

He said minor renovations would have to be made to the coffee shop. During the renovations, the coffee shop will have to be closed, unless they can schedule the renovations during a school break. Also, to make room for the machine, something in the coffee shop will have to leave and Shuck thinks it will probably be the ice coffee machine.

A question was brought up asking if the money could instead go to getting a full barista-style coffee shop. Shuck said the renovations for that would cost more than a F’real machine. He said, Senate would have to decide where they want to spend the money.

A F’real comes in one size and it would cost between $3.19-$3.99.
