Galaxy Series performer signs contract
The Galaxy Series performer for April 24 has signed the contract, “but there are still some minor things to work out” before the announcement of who the artists is, Lane Swedberg said.
Conferencing Coordinator Shellie Johns has no comment at this time about the concert.
The goal was to have tickets available to students by the end of February, but that is not happening.
Hopefully, they will be available after midterm break. If any tickets are leftover they will be open for community members to buy.
Vice Chair of Records, Stephanie Steele still needs updated packets, adviser agreements, and constitutions from several clubs by Friday, Feb. 26. Not updating these files could affect the clubs’ budget hearings.
CAB e-mailed members their budget packets which are due by March 6.
Clubs need to turn one copy in via the Sakai site and one in person to either the Senate office, located in the Student Center, or to Vice Chair of Finance Kelley McNabb.
Club members voted on themes for the remaining free bowling nights this semester. March 28 will be 80s themed night and May 2 will be Hawaiian themed night.
The Big Event staff is still requesting clubs’ pledge numbers, due by Friday, Feb. 26.
Vice Chair of Finance Kelley McNabb reported $8,408.52 in unallocated funds.
March 16 will kick of Big Event Week ending with the Tower of Power event at High Rise on March 20. Every floor will have games to advance to the top floor where participants can sign up for The Big Event.
Everyone needs to be registered and assigned to a specific location by April 21.
The Big Event is to take place April 25.
Lane Swedburg, the coordinator of recruitment for the Nearly Naked Mile invites anyone interested in helping out to attend the first official meeting 4:00 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26 in the Student Center lobby.
The Nearly Naked Mile will be held on April 30.
The rodeo club is holding their annual Black Tie Calf Fry 7:00 p.m. in the Ballroom. Tickets from a rodeo member cost $15 and tickets at the door will cost $20.
The event will feature a speaker, a silent auction, and a live auction.
The College Relations club is hosting a dance in the Crites Hall lobby 9:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26.
