“I understand the resignations, but maybe it was too early. I feel like the Senate is a reflection on the President and Vice President.”
Interim coaches promoted
Joel Smith Jr., athletic director at Chadron State, announced on Monday that Brad Gamble will be the 25th head track and field coach. Gamble was the interim coach for the Eagles during the 2014 season.
Along with a new track and field coach, Smith appointed a new cross country coach. Brian Medigovich, previously the interim head coach, became the eighth coach in Chadron State history.

Chadron State hosted the Don Holst Twilight Track and Field Meet Friday, with a showcase of event wins and broken records. At the end of the day, the Chadron State women’s team set six meet records, three arena records, and one CSC school record.

‘Extremities’ intended to provoke conversation
On Feb. 12-15, the Theatre Program will be producing the play “Extremities” by William Mastrosimone.
This production considers issues that are hard to bring up, and even harder for an audience to hear. It breaches the matter of rape and rape culture.
Associate music professor urges all interested to join community choir
Associate Professor of Music Una Taylor is inviting all who would like to sing in Community Choir this semester to come and join.
Rehearsals started last Thursday, but anybody who is interested is urged to show up to rehearsal tonight. Rehearsals are held in Memorial Hall room 126 at 7 p.m. The concert date is April 26th.
Two more senators resign; 1 cites poor leadership by execs.
Senator of Liberal Arts Courtney Bustillos and Senator At Large Lindsey Schanaman handed in resignations this week.
