Final Galaxy Series performer revealed

Conferencing Coordinator Shellie Johns announced at the CAB meeting Tuesday that Rodney Atkins will be the country performer scheduled for 7 p.m., April 24 at the NPAC.

Tickets are available for CSC students now. Tickets will be available to the general public after April 7.

There are only 1,500 tickets available so individuals were urged to act fast. Tickets are available at the Box Office in Memorial Hall.

Contact the Box Office by calling 308-432-6207 or e-mailing [email protected] to reserve tickets. You must have your student ID to pick them up.

There will be a country BBQ at 5 p.m. available for students with meal plans if they have their IDs.

If you do not have a meal plan and want to attend the BBQ, $10 meal tickets are available at the Box Office as well.

Rick Koza asked students to get involved with this fall’s homecoming activities.

Homecoming is Oct. 10 against Adams State. Students are being asked to develop potential themes and coordinating events for the week.

The bongo ball tournament scheduled in correlation with the Nearly Naked Mile on April 30 has been cancelled because the company is already committed to another event on that date.

The tournament is being moved to next semester’s Week of Welcome events.

The Native American club is planning a trip to Denver, April 10-12 to “explore cultures through an academic lens.”

The club wants to invite the public to attend an event at the Bean Broker to view their findings through their trip at 7 p.m., April 16.

CAB election nominations start next Tuesday. All positions are open, including CAB Chair Andy Martin’s position, who will not be running again for next year’s term.
