The Eagle to host media conference

College media is descending on Chadron this weekend, as The Eagle will host the 2015 Nebraska Collegiate Media Association conference and Golden Leaf Awards. About 60-70 media students and faculty advisers from five of the association’s seven schools will attend the conference.

The event kicks off with a welcome reception 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Sandoz Center. From 8:30-11:15 a.m., Saturday, four presenters will deliver seminars on radio, television, photojournalism, and editorial cartooning. It concludes with the annual Golden Leaf Awards banquet, where students are recognized for their work over the past year.
