Eagles Roll In Rolla, Missouri

In an impressive season debut, the Eagles routed Missouri S&T, 40-27. Derek Jackson, sophomore of Pueblo West, Colorado, put up three touchdowns on the ground for CSC, along with 44 yards. Junior Cody Paul, of Seal Beach, California, carried the ball 19 times for 132 yards. Paul also added a late touchdown to bury the Miners.

Redshirt freshman of Chadron, T.D. Stein completed 17 of 26 passes. He threw for over 200 yards and a touchdown to Kyle Vinich, senior of Casper, Wyoming.

Defensively, CSC proved to be a hastle, allowing less than 100 yards of offense in the first half. Senior safety, Cole Montgomery, of Casper, Wyoming, and KamRon Tomlinson, senior cornerback of Grandview, Missouri each grabbed an interception in the game.
