AD announces new SID

Athletic director Joel Smith Jr. announced that Heath Reynolds will be the new sports information director at CSC.

Reynolds will begin work Tuesday.

Reynolds, who was recently a substitute teacher in Liberty, Missouri, will replace Alex Helmbrecht, the director of college relations. Helmbrecht has been the SID since 2007 and was handling both SID duties and college relation duties last year.

Reynolds has a bachelor’s degree in sports communication from Upper Iowa. He also was an SID and assistant football coach at Concordia St. Paul University in 2010. He has experience in radio, web, and media relations.
