Hello, is anyone out there?

The Eagle is the place to voice your opinion, but there is only one way that we can publicize your opinion and that is if you write to us!

The Eagle is a public forum, making it the perfect place for you to reach the masses with your thoughts and ideas.

There are a couple rules, though.

1. We will not run anonymous submissions; you must be willing to have the courage of your convictions.

2. We reserve the right to edit or reject submissions.

3. Submissions that contain libel (published defamation of someone’s character) will be sent back to the writer for revision.

Just so that we are all on the same page, many words or phrases can damage a reputation, but a few that automatically libel are ones that accuse somebody of being a criminal, adulterer, insane, infected with a loathesome disease, or corrupt/incompetent in their profession.
