LARP Society club voted into CAB
The total amount allocated to the clubs in CAB as of now is $150,764.90. The clubs have spent $9,123.01 so far this year.
CAB approved three nominees—Stephanie Alfred, Tori Stepp, and Trista Schell—to take positions on the Activity Fee Board. AFB will be looking for at-large members to join the board in a few weeks. Schell requested to be voted in as an at-large member of CAB and the representatives approved.
The LARP Society club was voted into CAB. The voting of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation into CAB was tabled until they could give a brief explanation of what their club would do on campus at a future meeting.
The club adviser meeting is in the Ballroom at 11 a.m., Sept. 17. If an adviser is unable to attend, he or she will need to meet with CAB to get the information that will be discussed at the meeting.
Updated club packets are due Sept. 22. If they are not returned by this date, the club’s account will be frozen.
CAB is looking to work with a club to host an event on Oct. 24.
Tentative dates for Free Movie Night are Sept. 27 and Nov. 15. The tentative date for Free Bowling Night is Dec. 5. These dates are not set in stone but will be known for sure next week.
Flag football registration ends today and volleyball registration ends tomorrow.
Homecoming week events have been updated. A location is being found for the coronation and bed sheet winners on Tuesday, Oct. 6. The lighting of C-Hill will also be on Tuesday. Laser Tag will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 7.
Chris Green will be at Walmart from 10 – 11 a.m., every Thursday, to pay for supplies for club activities. If this time does not work for the club members, they need to talk to Green and set up another time to meet.
The Nebraska State College System Board is coming to CSC today and tomorrow for meetings.
There will be an Eagle Pride Night for the volleyball game on Sept. 18. There is a possibility that the first 50 students to attend and stay at the game will receive an iTunes gift card.
