“For academics, I’m into international politics or relationships, because I would like to see a peaceful future in the world. I can’t wait to work for the United Nations after school. They have an intern program but I have to wait until before my senior year, so I still can’t do it yet.
“There are different interns, though, in the political affairs or the legal affairs department. I can’t tell you why exactly, but international politics are so interesting.
“Relationships are all interesting. In Asia you are restricted by laws; you can’t do this or can’t do that. The states are different. And in the United States there are no real international laws that restrict us from declaring war against any country.
“My goal is to address the need to be individual in the international society. It’s hard because every country has their own authority and they don’t want to give up their authority to the United Nations or give up their powers.
“It’s hard to build international laws, so we need peaceful international relationships to keep a more peaceful world.
“So, I guess that’s why.”
