Camouflaged students jive like no one can see
Close to 300 people attended The Pit Homecoming Theme Dance in the Student Center, 9 p.m. – midnight, Thursday.
The theme this year was “Going on a Bear Hunt,” and in keeping with that, a few students showed up dressed in camouflage.
“This is going to be exciting,” Matthew Ellis, 19, sophomore of Alliance, said before the dance. “I love events like this. It’s a good way to spend the night.”
Balloons covered the dance floor and laser lights flashed throughout the room. The DJ featured many different types of music, including country songs to fit the dance’s theme.
Several students said they had fun.
“I enjoyed it. It was fun and I met new people,” Connor Besse, 20, sophomore of Denver, said.
