Eagles hunt down Grizzlies, 26-0

The Eagles pushed their way to a 3-3 record in the Homecoming game against the Grizzlies of Adams State University, Saturday, with a 26-0 score at Elliott Field. The Eagles are now 2-2 in RMAC play.

Muggles try their brooms at Quidditch

Straight out of “Harry Potter,” Quidditch flew to CSC’s campus Friday, thanks to the organization of Katrina Hurley, 21, senior of Seward, RA of Kent, at the Amphitheater, outside of Brooks Hall.

$2,021.96 remains in CAB’s account

Clubs have spent $35,533.28 this year and have $118,231.62 remaining in their funds. CAB has spent $1,478.04 and has $2,021.96 remaining in its account.

Due to midterm break, there will be no CAB meeting next week.

Senate to host public forum, allocate $1,500 for Bowling Night

At the beginning of the meeting, Senate had $116,268.61 in unallocated funds.

There will be an open forum for students to discuss the leadership conference that will come to Chadron on Nov. 12 at 4 p.m., Thursday in the Student Center.

Student, accused of felony, released after posting bond

A CSC student left the Dawes County Jail Tuesday after posting a $1,000 bond following his arrest early Monday morning on several charges, including a terroristic-threats felony, authorities said.

Cross country teams heat up in Ark.

The men’s team took 10th and the women’s team finished eighth Saturday, at the Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival hosted by the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. The invite included D-I, D-II, and NAIA schools.
