Clubs keep campus busy through the weekend
Courtney LaMont was voted in as an at large member of CAB at Tuesday’s meeting.
CAB needs a new representative for AFB due to the resignation of a member.
The Social Science club is hosting Geography Day from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., today in the Student Center. They will be asking students trivial questions and will give prizes to first and second place.
There is a Student Senate meet and greet at 6 p.m., tonight in the Scottsbluff room.
International Club members will be giving culture presentations from 7 – 8 p.m., tonight at the Sandoz Center.
Chris Green’s GA, Ryan Parriott, will be at Walmart from 10 – 11 a.m., today for clubs to purchase supplies. There will not be a Walmart run next Thursday, Nov. 26 from 10 — 11 a.m.
Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Club is hosting a banquet at 5 p.m., tomorrow at the Assumption Arena.
Nick Scott will have a presentation for the Student Senate Leadership Summit at 7 p.m., Saturday at Memorial Hall.
The Party at the Pavilion is at 8 p.m., Saturday in the Ag Coffee Pavilion.
Free Movie Night is at 7:15 p.m., Sunday. The movies playing are “Mockingjay Part 2,” “The Peanuts Movie,” and “Spectre.” Xi Delta Zeta is hosting a canned food drive at Free Movie Night.
Sarah Townsend and Jayme Nunes came to CAB to ask clubs to help with fundraising for the MS Run the US relay that Nunes will be running in June 2016. Hearts and Minds will be meeting at the Clock Tower to sing Christmas Carols around town at 5:30 p.m., Dec. 7.
Chelsea Holt, vice chair of programming, asked CAB representatives for events to host during dead week. Some suggestions were late night breakfast, a masseuse for students, and board games.
There was no treasurer’s report at Tuesday’s meeting.
There will not be a CAB meeting Tuesday due to Thanksgiving break.
