Martin Moriel, 22, senior of Phoenix, won a white board and movies at the Life-Sized Pool hosted by the RLA last Friday night. Close to 20 people joined the game from 9 – 11 p.m. in the Student Center.

“It was fun,” Moriel said after the game. “Having friends there and prizes made it a lot better.”

Two people competed each game. The winner moved into the next round. There were soccer balls painted as pool balls and participants tried their best to kick them. Normal 8 ball rules were applied. One player pockets all the solids and the other pockets all the stripes. The player who finished all of his or her balls can kick the 8 ball, and then he or she wins the game.

There was a raffle at the end of the event to give away prizes including movies, blankets, pencils, Christmas lights, marker, and white board.
