Women’s team earns second conference win

The Eagles traveled to Colorado hoping to pick up two much needed conference wins before Christmas break started for the athletes. The Eagles went to Denver first to face off against the Metropolitan State University-Denver Roadrunners. Although the Eagles played well, the Roadrunners prevailed 61-59. On the following night, the women faced off against the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs, winning by a landslide, 83-63.

2 jumpers qualify for National meet, named RMAC Athletes of the Week

The Chadron State track team sent 15 athletes to Colorado School of Mines, Golden, this weekend to compete in the annual CSM Alumni Open. Long jumpers Damarcus Simpson, sophomore of Lafayette, Georgia, and Stachia Reuwsaat, junior of Rapid City, South Dakota, won their events and hit automatic NCAA qualifying marks for the National Indoor Track and Field Championships in March, and were named as RMAC Indoor Field Athletes of the Week.
