V’ball coach Wells resigns

Former Head Volleyball Coach Chris Wells resigned, Athletic Director Joel Smith Jr. stated on the CSC Athletics website Wednesday.

A 4:32 p.m., Wednesday call to Smith’s office seeking comment went unanswered.

An email response from Smith at 8:14 p.m., Wednesday stated, “He resigned, we are moving forward with the search for a replacement.”

A brief statement on CSC’s athletics website states, “A national search for the Eagles’ next volleyball coach will begin immediately.”
