2 CAB chairs resign; no meeting next week

Two CAB executive board members will resign at semester.

Vice Chair of Records Jacob Perez’s resignation is due to him transferring schools at semester. Maria Evtodieva, vice chair of relations, will also be resigning at semester.

“I did not feel welcome there,” Evtodieva said. “If I am in the club, I need to feel that members are my friends or good acquaintances at least. I’m not saying that it is a horrible place to be, but I didn’t feel team spirit… I just don’t feel this is where I have to be.”

Elections for vice chair of records and vice chair of relations will be next semester.

Table tennis and United clubs were officially voted into CAB.  Table tennis club meets at Ridgeview Bible Church at 6:30 or 7 p.m., Fridays. United club is a support club for LGBTQ. The United club wants to have a Q & A session, open  night, a pride dance, suicide prevention, and awareness events.

CAB allocated no more than $500 for events during finals week. These events include massages, adult coloring, and a game night.

At the beginning of Tuesday’s meeting, CAB had spent $4,699.30 and had $800.70 remaining. Clubs have spent $55,162 and has $99,602.91 left in their account.

CAB will not meet Tuesday.
