Think painting is hard already? Try to do it with your feet or mouth! Roughly 20 people showed up and joined MistleTOE Magic Thursday in the Gold Room.

The purpose of the event was to let students know how hard it is for handicapped people to draw with their feet and/or mouths.

Many Christmas related subjects were given, and students had to paint without using their hands in a limited amount of time. The subjects included Christmas trees, presents with bows, candy canes, ginger bread men, and Santa Claus.

Most participants decided to use their feet. Some students were struggling at first, but after a while, they got used to it and the paintings were better.

Christmas music, a toy train, hot chocolate, cookies with the paintings made the room full of Christmas spirit.

There was a raffle to give away prizes. Unlike other events, this time, the prizes were wrapped in red paper. Therefore, students didn’t know what was inside.

“It’s a fun event for free time,” Dylan Stansbury, 23, senior of Crawford, said. “Next time, I will try to make my pictures nicer.”
