CSC track and field teams finish second
The Chadron State track and field team hosted the RMAC Indoor Track and Field Championships. Both men and women finished second in overall team standings with scores of 145.5 and 124, respectively.

Men’s team drops 2 more; hopeful for first road win
The Chadron State men’s basketball team traveled to Grand Junction, Colorado, and Salt Lake City for match-ups against Colorado Mesa University, Friday, and Westminster College, Saturday, suffering losses in both meetings. The Eagles fell to Mesa 88-66, and the Griffins 77-62.

Women fall out of playoff contention
With playoff contention on the line, the Eagles needed to win both games last weekend to keep their hopes for post-conference play alive. The Eagles traveled to Colorado and Utah to play RMAC opponents Colorado Mesa University, Grand Junction, and Westminster College, Salt Lake City.

Star-filled show dazzles students
CSC Geoscience student Caelum Hubl, freshman of Lincoln, dazzled a small crowd at 2 p.m. Friday, during a scheduled showing of the winter constellations at CSC’s planetarium in the Math and Science building.

Eagles swing past No. 21 Regis
Solid pitching and hot bats led the Eagles to win the 4-game series with Regis University, Denver, 3-1. Regis was ranked No. 21 at the time. CSC is now 8-6-1, 3-1 in conference play.
