CAB approves 2 more clubs
Two clubs – Art Guild and Pitch – were approved as clubs in CAB. Pitch club will meet in the Red Room at 7 p.m. Sundays.
Clubs have spent $62,387.05 and have $91,677.86. CAB has spent $7,610.59 and has $1,389.41.
Open forums for constitutional changes for Student Government will be from 4-5 p.m. today and from 3-4 p.m. Monday in the Scottsbluff Room.
Vice Chair of Public Relations Kalen Grint told CAB representatives to email him any information about events they want on the slide show in the Student Center at [email protected].
Grint said the wildlife clubs is putting on an ice-fishing tournament Saturday at Box Butte Reservoir.
Director of Student Affairs and Student Activities and Recreation Chris Green told representatives to email him or Student Affairs Graduate Assistant Ryan Parriott if they need supplies for an event from Walmart from 10 – 11 a.m. Tuesday.
Admissions Representative Justy Bullington said Eagle Leader applications are due at the end of this week. She will hire about 60 students to help with several different jobs during New Student Orientation. The Eagle Leader positions are paid.
Student Trustee Mikayla Gallagher reminded representatives that applications for the student trustee position are due tomorrow in Enrollment Management, Marketing, and Student Services Vice President Jon Hansen’s office.
Student Senate President Katrina Hurley said there will be a table in the Student Center from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. today and tomorrow for clubs to sign up to host a booth at Spring Daze.
Jamie Utt is presenting in the Student Center Ballroom at 6 p.m. tonight and at 9 a.m. tomorrow.
Faculty and staff appreciation night is at the wrestling dual 6 p.m. tonight in the NPAC. There are also wrestling duals at 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
The theme for the basketball game Friday is pajama night and the theme for Saturday night is hometown throw down. The women’s games start at 5:30 p.m. and men’s at 7:30 p.m. The Nest plans to hand out Eagle wristbands for the first half of the women’s game and the first 10 minutes of the men’s game Saturday.
