CAB nominations open in April
Nominations for CAB executive board will begin in April. To be elected for the CAB chair, students must have served as a CAB representative for at least two semesters. To be elected for the vice chair of programming, vice chair of relations, vice chair of records, or vice chair of finances, students must have served as a CAB representative for at least one semester.
CAB allocated no more than $263.82 to the social science club for a gun debate. The debate will be in the Ballroom at 4 p.m. April 4.
Clubs had spent $79,893.86 and had $75,865.38 in unallocated funds at the start of the meeting. CAB had spent $10,475.07 and had $4,724.93 remaining in their account at the beginning of the meeting.
AFB will also need three new CAB members and six new at large members next fall. Vice Chair of Finances Molly O’Connell said the club budget hearings are open to the public, and encouraged CAB representatives to attend to see what the hearings are like.
CAB Chair Stephanie Steele said they will begin to require clubs to send members to other clubs’ events to increase attendance and club membership.
Free Movie Night is April 3 and Free Bowling Night is April 16.
Coy Clark will begin his term as Student Trustee in May.
Director of Student Affairs and Student Activities and Recreation Chris Green told CAB representatives to discuss activities they would like to see on campus next year with their club’s members and bring ideas to the CAB meetings.
