2016 budget recommendations

AFB budget recommendations were submitted to Senate. Senators will vote on the budget allocations Monday. AFB recommended $26,915.95 in total cuts. There was $231,419.18 total requested and they are recommending $204,503.23 total. Only 15 of the 44 clubs who asked for funding did not receive cuts.

Uniformly, clubs were cut 5 percent for a late budget packet, 10 percent for a non-itemized budget, and 5 percent for a partially itemized budget. Molly O’Connell, AFB co-chair, said they made more cuts this year than in both years combined.

She said the cuts are made based on a majority vote by AFB.

This is the amount that each club asked for and the recommendation that AFB is making for each club.
