Foundation officer discusses fundraising rules

Chadron State Foundation Development Officer Jacob Rissler spoke to CAB representatives about club fundraising guidelines at Tuesday’s meeting.
Rissler emphasized that clubs cannot ask for cash donations from area businesses that donate to the Fall Fun Drive. Clubs can ask for cash donations from businesses that don’t give to the Fall Fun Drive after clearance from the Chadron State Foundation. Before clubs do any fundraising, members should read the guidelines and complete a fundraising form to get approved by Senior Director of Student Affairs Pat Beu and someone from the Foundation office two weeks prior to asking for donations. For the guidelines and form, contact CAB Chair Molly O’Connell or the Foundation office located on the second floor of Sparks Hall.
