No at large students attend forum

Student senator Michael Steube, Student Senate Secretary Olivia Vester, Student Trustee Coy Clark, and Senate President Katrina Hurley met to discuss Homecoming at the open forum in the Student Center Thursday.
Forum attendants discussed the events planned for Homecoming week. Senate allocated money for gift cards for winners of dress up days for every day of the week. Today’s dress up day is pajama day and Friday is ‘80s and ‘90s day. There will be a $20 gift card for first place and $10 for second place.
There is a Homecoming dance at The Pit at 9 p.m. today and the play opens in Memorial Hall at 7:30 p.m. today.
There will be a Quidditch tournament at 4 p.m. Friday.
Saturday is the main event with a 5k Eagle Run at 8 a.m., parade at 9:30 a.m., rugby game at noon, and football game at 1 p.m. There will also be a formal dance at 9 p.m.
The parade has been rerouted because of road construction on Third Street. The parade will go down Main Street from campus to Fourth Street Saturday morning.
The Homecoming royalty will be announced at halftime of the football game.
The formal dance Saturday night will also have a Harry Potter theme.
