CAB plans holiday events

Clubs were asked to sign up if they want to decorate a Christmas tree for the Holiday Giving Christmas Tree Event Senate is hosting in December at CAB’s meeting Tuesday. Clubs will have from Nov. 28 until Dec. 2 to decorate the tree and the bidding on the trees will be Dec. 5-12. CAB allocated no more than $50 for each club to buy decorations to decorate the trees.
NAMI is planning a holiday meal for international students and students who do not go home for the holidays. The meal is tentatively scheduled for Dec. 18 and the club is now in the planning stages of the event.
CAB approved Amanda Jeter as the third CAB member of the Activity Fee Board.
Vice Chair of Finance Gavan Archibald reported clubs have spent $32,282.82 and $172,221.41 remaining in clubs’ accounts, and CAB has $12,232.63 remaining.
Anyone interested in helping plan a Casino Night should attend a planning meeting Tuesday after the CAB meeting.
There will be a soccer tournament at 7 p.m. Nov. 18, and a Native American Club Pow Wow Nov. 19.
There will be no CAB meeting Nov. 22 for fall break.
