Early Childhood Conference

The 29th annual Excellence in Early Childhood Conference will be held on Friday, Feb. 16, and Saturday, Feb. 17, on the CSC campus.
The theme of the conference will be “United We Stand for Children…Balanced and Barefoot!” Sessions include the Nebraska Early Learning Guidelines for Social Emotion presented by Sarah Ochoa, Nebraska Early Learning Guidelines for Math presented by Pam Uhl, Safe with You Training presented by Jennifer Baumann and Introduction to Family Child Care Environmental Rating Scale (FCCERS) presented by Cindy Jennett.
The conference features nationally renowned presenter Angela Honscom. Conference participants can receive her book “Balanced and Barefoot: How Unrestricted Outdoor Play Makes for Strong, Confident, and Capable Children,” for a $5 value.
