CAB encourages club event coordination

Megan Northrup mentioned that although there are a lot of events going on around campus, sometimes event times clash.
Tools such as conferencing and the campus’ guidebook app are available for clubs to schedule their events and see what is going on.
“We want to make sure that we are not clashing with RLA, and people know about your events and there is an easier way to market your events,” Northrup said.
Northrup would like to see more clubs considering planning co-sponsored events. CAB would also like to see more clubs scheduling their events through conferencing and/or the guidebook app.
Dr. Nesheim presented the Co-Curricular Outcomes during the meeting again, and gave attendees the option to either look over the outcomes again, or motion to adopt them at the meeting. The outcomes ended up being motioned to be approved for campus wide adoptions.
The graduate assistant in Conferencing, brought up a tool for students called Merit that she manages. The goal is for more students to use their Merit pages, since Merit pages showcase all of their accomplishments/acheivements during their college careers.
