Plan ahead to prevent stress during finals

This is it my friends. It is the final push of the semester. Whether it is finishing papers, projects or getting ready for finals, there is not much time left.
Not having a lot of time can be both exciting and stressful, but it’s exciting because summer is just around the corner. Stress comes when you realize summer is so close yet there’s still so much to do.
One thing you can do to make finals a little less stressful is to dress for success. I don’t know about you but when I put a little effort into my outfit, my mindset becomes a little more positive. I also know that when I do not put a lot of effort into my outfit or how I look, I tend to be more tired and not as engaged.
So, as finals are approaching, take some time to look at your wardrobe and pick out a few outfits that might make you feel a little more positive going into finals.
Another thing you can do to prepare yourself for finals is have all of your necessities ready the night before. Make sure you have everything you need in your backpack, double check your presentations or essays and make sure you have plenty of pencils and papers or anything else you might need.
Also, set out your clothes the night before to allow you to not feel as stressed before heading to your finals. That way when you wake up in the morning you can focus on what you have to do for your final.
The last suggestion I have for you is to get plenty of sleep and allow yourself enough time to wake up before you go. Don’t stay up till 3 a.m. trying to cram last minute. Go to bed at a decent time then wake up a little earlier to finish studying.
Trying to overload your brain in the middle of the night is a recipe for disaster. Try allowing yourself enough time to wake up and feel ready for your final. It is way better than waking up 15 minutes before you have to go to class.
