Hungry, hungry humans
Scooters, laughter and little plastic balls filled up the Hub at the RLA event Hungry, Hungry Humans last Friday at 8 p.m.
Over 30 people participated in the live version of the classic game “Hungry, Hungry Hippos.”
The game involved two team members. One team member pushed the other on a scooter while the other collected as many plastic balls as possible to win the game. The team that had the most plastic balls won a prize. Prizes ranged from candy to party games.
Eagle Ridge AD Michael Steube, 24, of Plattsmouth, hosted the event along with RLA.
“We had the event last year and we wanted to make it bigger and involve more exercise,” Steube said.
The event was very popular with students last year and many had come back to an even better event.
Kenade Tomjack 19, sophomore of Chambers, said it was just as fun as last year but with better prizes.
“I did it last year and it was a lot of fun,” Tomjack said.
For those who wanted a less strenuous game, party games like Uno and Jenga were available for participants to play as well.
