CAB notes campus events, free movie night date
CAB looked at the upcoming events happening on campus this week.
CAB was allocated $103,532.00 at the beginning of the year. Vice Chair of Finance Jacob Muir said there is $94,740.06 in unallocated funds.
There will be a trip budget packet workshop at 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 11 to teach clubs how to fill out trip budget packets correctly. This workshop is mandatory for all club CAB representatives and presidents. A make up workshop will be held at 11 a.m. Nov. 12.
Free movie night is Sunday. The movies playing are: Joker, Downtown Abbey, The Addams Family, and Gemini Man. At the Oct.7 general assembly, it was announced that 82 people went to free bowling night.
Author Jarrett Krosoczka will be presenting his book “Hey, Kiddo” at 10 a.m. on Oct. 28 in the Student Center Ballroom. He will then be signing student’s copies of the book following the presentation.
Tenth Street Miscellany is now accepting student’s work for the upcoming edition. They will accept writing – academic, creative, musical scores or lyrics and art.
RLA is hosting Live Clue Night 7 p.m. on Friday in the library. There also will be a Husker party, 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the HUB.
The Pit is hosting a Halloween dance on Oct. 31 in the Student Center Ballroom.
