Sunday Night football draws a crowd of 76

RLA hosted Sunday Night Football in the Hub at 5:30 p.m. About 76 people attended the event.

Students were served onion rings and wings that came in a variety of flavors to eat before the

game started. Tha match was between the Green Bay Packers vs. San Fransisco 49ers. The game

started at 6 p.m. The 49ers won the game 37 to 8.

Makenna Metzler, 19, freshman of Otis, Colorado attended the watch event.

 “I like this event because I love the free food and honey barbecue wings are my favorite.” Metzler said, “I want the 49ers to win because they are having a better season than the Packers.”

Abby White, 19, sophomore of Simcoe Ontario, Canada was also in attendance.

“I came to this event because my friends were going and they invited me, so I said yes because I like to watch football and eat wings.” White said,

“I don’t care who wins this game because all I care about is the Patriots.”

Emily Hand, 20, junior of Columbus, was in charge of running the football night. 

“It is a good way to get together one last time before Thanksgiving and eat fun football food.” Hand said.

The onion rings were provided by the cafeteria and the wings were provided by Pizza Hut. The budget of

this event was $200, and they spent $190, making this event $10 under budget.
