RLA hosts trivia night in the library
RLA hosted a Trivia Night on Friday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. in the library, along with Project Strive and Blue Key.
Senior RA, McKayla Schultis, 22, of Tryon says they have been planning this event for about a month. The attendance of the event was around 50 students.
Teams of three to five students each received packets of paper to write down the answers to each question in each category.
There were 12 categories that consisted of 10 questions each.
The questions were read aloud on the intercom system on the main floor of the library. After each question was read aloud, teams had 20 seconds to come up with an answer and write it down, and 30 seconds at the end of each round to finalize the answers. No phones, laptops, tablets, or other outside sources allowed when coming up with answers. The entire game lasted about an hour and a half.
The winning team, “Knob Creek,” consisted of Scott Hedglen, 21, sophomore of Bellevue, Clayton Butler, 22, sophomore of Bellevue, Corbin Perkins, 20, junior of Loveland, Colorado and Madisen Grenstiner, 20, sophomore of Wasta, South Dakota. They won stocking caps with the CSC Eagle logo on the front. The second place team, winning chocolates, consisted of Devin Fulton, 23, senior of Glenrock, Wyoming, Will Morgan, 22, senior of Fort Collins, Colorado and Kaitlin Howell, 23, junior of Morrill.
“We had a lot of fun, we had a good performance and next time we just need to trust each other’s answers more,” Morgan said.
