CSC to host fifth annual Range Day
Today in the Scottsbluff Room of the Student Center, Upper Niobrara White Natural Resources District will be co-sponsoring the fifth annual Range Day with the Chadron State College and the C.F. Coffee Family Foundation.
Events will start at 8:30 a.m. and will continue into the early afternoon with the last event starting at 2:30 p.m.
The topics will range from water health, prescribed burns, prescribed fire success, utilizing drones, range monitoring technology and current and future weather.
“… it’s a really good educational event for the general public or the land owner to come and get some new ideas that they can try on their farm operation… maybe it will help with their range health conditions,” Nevin Price, Upper Niobrara White Natural Resources District’s natural resources coordinator, said.
