Student Senate seats and homecoming crown to be voted for in April
Chadron state college Student Senate elections will occur April 22-24 noon to noon.
The last day for students to turn in executive and senatorial candidacy petition forms is April 8. Those forms may be turned in to a justice of the Constitutional Court.
Any student may run for any office so long as they meet the requirements listed on the candidacy petition form for each office.
If any students have questions about the petition process or elections, they may contact Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court, Nathan Cronin. His CSC email is [email protected].
After the election, new members will be sworn in at the April 26 Student Senate meeting. That meeting will be the last of the school year.
Occurring during the same week as Student Senate elections is homecoming king and queen voting. Clubs are to submit nominations for a king and queen candidate on or before April 12 to the Constitutional Court.
Voting will occur April 19-21 and the actual coronation will occur on April 21 at 6:30 p.m. in the Chicoine Center. The coronation will also be broadcast on CSC Live.
Election voting will be conducted online via SurveyMonkey.
