UNL puts on three more farm management webinars
University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL)‘s Farm and Ranch Management Webinar is hosting three new episodes today, May 6 and May 13.
Today’s episode ‘Understanding the How and Use of NASS Cattle Reports’, begins at noon. This episode is being put on by UNL Agriculture Economist Elliot Dennis and United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) Regional Director Nick Streff. Streff will be discussing the statistics for Cattle on Feed reports, how these reports are estimated and why this information is important according to UNL’s website.
‘Agricultural Assistance Through PAP, ARP, and CFAP: What Are These and Why Should Farmers, Ranchers Care?’ will premiere May 6 at noon. Nebraska Extension Policy Specialist, Brad Lubben and Nebraska USDA Farm Service Agency Production and Compliance Section Chief, Cathy Anderson will be hosting this episode. The webinar will discuss Pandemic Assistance for Producer Initiative (PAP), the American Rescue Act Plan and Coronavirus Food Assistance Program and what they mean for Nebraska.
May 13 at 11:30 a.m. Omaha Branch Executive, Vice President Economist, Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, Nathan Kauffman will be speaking on ‘Economic Recovery in the U.S.’.
