Fall turkey season opens
Wild turkey season opened Wednesday and closes Jan. 31, 2022, with each permit allowing hunters to take two turkeys.
Statewide, fees cost $8 for youth permits, $16.50 for resident landowner permits, $65.50 for non-resident landowner permits, $30 for general resident turkey permits and $128 for general non-resident permits.
Two turkeys of either sex can be killed per permit, which can be purchased online at https://ngpc-home.ne.gov/ or at a Nebraska Game and Parks Commission office.
