Lions, tigers and crocs, oh my!

We can all recognize where this popular phrase came from, but it’s become time to replace the bear with Crocs.

Yes, Crocs have replaced bears as the new fierce animal that today’s generation has grown accustomed to and popularized the once basic shoe brand.

Crocs was founded in 2002 and are known for their hole-covered clogs. The shoes are relatively inexpensive, on their website, the most expensive pair of women’s Crocs cost $79.99 and the least expensive pair cost $17.49.

Through the years Crocs have been at the bottom of the shoe industry as far as the consumers’ choice went when deciding between sneakers or a pair of sandals or slides. The idea of replacing slides or sandals with a pair of Crocs was ludicrous back then, but not now.

As an owner of three pairs myself, Crocs have been my go-to shoes since the day I got my first pair.

I was one of those people who saw Crocs on others and thought they were ugly, uncomfortable, and for kids or people who worked in the kitchen because of the holes in them.

It was not until I was gifted a pair from my significant other wear my mind totally changed. They are the most comfortable, durable and reliable pair of shoes I have now and most days I find myself choosing to wear Crocs over sneakers.

Do not get me wrong, slides and sandals will always have their loyal customers but Crocs are making its name known and flooding the shoe industry with new customers daily.

Crocs offer not only the most trendy style of clogs; they offer loafers, flip-flops, sandals, slides, sneakers, boots and socks. Women also get the choice of flats, wedges and platforms to choose from amongst other options.

Not only do you have 10 distinctive styles of Crocs to choose from when shopping, every choice has options to customize the pair how you would like.

They have colors across the rainbow and inbetween as well as camouflage, tie-dye, and unique brand collaboration colors. You can even buy what they call jibbitz, which are little foam decals you can hook on to your Crocs through the holes to give your pair a unique look.

These jibbitz can be letters, numbers, food, candy, jewels, flags, emojis and anything you could think of because Crocs wants you to be able to personalize your pair to match your personality.

The marketing revamp of Crocs in the last couple of years has immensely increased its target market and sales. Brand collaboration has become one of Crocs’s most recognizable marketing moves by adding a fun stylish touch to these partnerships.

You will see collaborations with people such as Justin Bieber, companies like KFC or even other apparel brands such as Balenciaga.

Nowadays you will see an exclusive number of pairs being sold and for sneaker heads, it is also an opportunity to resale these types of Crocs for more or hold on to them for value.

According to the Crocs website under the clogs description the company says, “Big on comfort, our men’s clogs feature a variety of colors and styles that are easy to slip on and off. Perfect for running errands, relaxing around the house, keeping your feet protected at the pool or lake and much more – you’ll get long-term use out of your Crocs clogs.”

These Crocs are the real deal and perfect for about any occasion.

They won’t rip on you like sandals do, they won’t slip off like slides do, especially when you put the ankle strap down, and they won’t smell like sneakers do because of the air holes. What about when it gets cold, can you still where Crocs?

Of course, you can because they are offered with a fuzzy winter insole that keeps your feet nice and toasty.

Crocs may seem unappealing to you at first, but you know what they say, do not knock it until you try it. Crocs are sold worldwide and if you cannot find them in stores near you, the website will make your dreams come true.

Once you go Crocs, you never go back.
