McCoy named new director of NGPC
Nebraska Game and Parks Commission appointed Tim McCoy as the new director starting Nov. 2.
McCoy is currently the deputy director, a position he has held since 2012. He began working for Game and Parks in 2002, he got his start as a district manager in Kearney.
“I am honored to be selected as the next director of the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission,” McCoy said to Game and Parks. “It is a unique privilege and responsibility to lead the stewardship of Nebraska’s fish, wildlife and park resources and provide diverse opportunities for outdoor recreation”
Jim Douglas, the current director announced his retirement last April after working for Game and Parks for 47 years and as the director for the last nine.
