CSC students participate in Homecoming scavenger hunt

By Javian Bird

Through the events of impersonating characters of Seinfeld, singing songs to the tops of your lungs, asking strangers to take pictures of you and your friends jumping in the air.

These events, along with others, were scavenger hunt items CSC students participated in during homecoming week.

The scavenger hunt, coordinated and directed by Nathan Cronin, took place Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the student center and all-around campus.

The Scavenger hunt highlighted some of the activities throughout the week that students could participate in to win potential prizes and build momentum toward the homecoming dance and parade coming later that week.

‘Find the Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court and show him your best impression of the Elaine dance from Seinfeld’ As well as ‘Take a video of the members of your team making a fake marriage proposal to another person. Both people should be as dramatic as possible.’ These were just a couple of the activities required for this hunt.

Surrounding civilian students were no less than startled when approached by the scavenger hunt participants. One of these students was Richard Harbor III, 26, of Los Angeles.

“I was definitely caught off guard because it was so random,” he said. “I hesitated to participate at first, I thought it could be a prank.”
