If you’ve looked at your bill and wondered “where does my student activity fee go?”, well it goes to the student senate account. This is what funds the various student clubs, the fun events, and upgrade to the campus that help make student life better like the Zen Room and Food Pantry. It is this team of senate executives and student senators that make sure that the student body is considered when decisions are made. They work with the student trustee, faculty, and staff to ensure the continued existence of our student rights.
Students are encouraged to go to the senate meetings, every Monday at 4p.m. Go to the meetings, know how your student funds are being managed, learn about some changes senate is trying to implement. The student senate is a forum where ALL student expressions and opinions are encouraged and respected.
