NCAA: Football must forfeit two seasons
CSC’s football team must forfeit its wins for two straight seasons, but will retain all its scholarships and remain eligible for post-season play after the NCAA issued Wednesday its “public infractions report” on the school’s football fundraising violations discovered in 2011.

Saturday, the Eagles’ football team improved their record to 7-2 overall and 6-1 in the RMAC with a 59-17 win over Western New Mexico University, Silver City. CSC’s quarterback, Jonn McLain, junior of Chadron, completed 21 of 29 passes for 135 yards and three TD’s, bringing his career touchdown total to 70.
