8 former CSC athletes join Hall of Fame
The Chadron State College Athletic Hall of Fame gained eight elite members in the 2016 class of inductees. Five of the newly inducted members are former football players, two track and field stars, and an All-American wrestler.

With the RMAC schedule in full swing, the Eagles dropped to a 1-4 conference record, losing to Western State Colorado University, Gunnison, and Colorado Mesa University, Grand Junction. CSC showed improvement, but lost both games in five sets. The Eagles were swept by Regis University, Denver on Tuesday.

Colorado Mesa University, Grand Junction, on the back of quarterback Sean Rubalcaba, senior of Grand Junction, Colorado, racked up 513 total yards, Saturday, enough to hand the Eagles their first loss of the season, 47-33.
