NET, Nebraska’s PBS television station, has announced their plans to televise the Eagle’s Oct. 8 game against UNK at Cope Stadium in Kearney.

Beginning at their meeting next Monday, CSC’s Student Senate meetings are planned to be recorded and broadcasted on the College’s information channel – Channel 20 on Great Plains Cable.

James Bahensky, vice president of Student Senate, said that Beth Wroblewski, senate corresponding secretary, would be responsible for running the equipment at the meetings.

According to Bahensky, each table will have a microphone. He also mentioned the possibility of podcasts in the future.

Saturday’s Family Day festivities include horse-drawn carriage rides and a photo booth for students to capture memories with family and friends.

The Eagle’s first home football game is scheduled for noon, and visitors are encouraged to reserve lunch/football tickets online at www.csc.edu/students/family_day/.

During its Wednesday meeting, the Nebraska State College System Board of Trustees voted on a $410,213 request toward “miscellaneous renovations”
